Sacraments

Mass Schedule Beginning January 4, 2009

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Saturdays from 4:30 to 5 PM or any time by appointment.

Baptism

Baptisms are held on the first and third Sundays of the month at 1:00 PM. Baptismal Preparation Class is held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 PM in the rectory meeting room.

Marriage

Marriage in the Church is a sacred moment - a sacrament - the beginning of a lifetime that includes the sharing of love, self-sacrifice, the creation of new life, and continual growth in relationship with each other and with God.

Asking to be married in the Catholic faith presupposes that you are serious in your commitment to love God and your neighbor as Jesus taught us, to live in the community of Catholic faith and practice that faith by regular worship and by living a life that obeys the teaching of Jesus in the Sacred Scriptures.

Marriage Vows, made before God and the community of faith, are binding "til death do us part." Divorce does not change a vow made before God and remarriage after divorce is not permitted by the teachings of Jesus.

If you share these desires, you should contact one of the priests of our parish and begin your preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage. You can also read the wedding guidelines posted on this site.

Anointing of the Sick

The rectory may be called at any time for the Anointing of the Sick. Arrangements should be made through the rectory for home visits with the Eucharist for the sick and elderly.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Is the Holy Spirit calling you? (RCIA) RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS. The RCIA process is an opportunity for instruction and spiritual transformation for any adult seeking a deeper understanding of the Catholic tradition or full incorporation into the Catholic Church. If you are interested in becoming a Catholic or completing the Sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist), please call Sister Sheila at 609-927-3568, ext. 21, or e-mail her at sheilamurray@comcast.net.
